2012 saw the first international tour for the Lao Nagas; a representative team made up of senior and under 20 international players.  The team attended the Kowloon Tens, taking the bowl and attended the pinnacle of global 7s rugby at the IRB Hong Kong Rugby Sevens.

The tour offered Lao players a unique experience to represent their country in their sport of choice in Hong Kong, home of one of the powerhouses of Asian Rugby.  Each of these athletes was an ambassador for the sport in Laos and worked to introduce the wider rugby world to rugby in Laos.
