The Lao Rugby Federation is the governing body for the sport of rugby in the Lao PDR.  A full member of the Lao NOC, the Lao Ministry of Education and Sport and Asia Rugby and an Associate Member of World Rugby, the LRF works with more than 3,000 young people across two provinces.  Through Champa Ban Youth Rugby, senior club rugby, national teams and coach and institutional capacity development the LRF strives to reach its mission of offering rugby playing opportunities for all in the Lao PDR.

The Communications and Content Officer will report to the Communications and Outreach Manager.

Responsibilities

This post holds the following responsibilities:

• Assist in planning a content schedule that supports with LRF’s strategic and promotional goals for release on LRF’s channels

• Support in reviewing and storing photo, video and other content files

• Assist in creating promotions for major LRF events and team schedules including the Vientiane International Rugby Championship, the Lao Colours League, the Lao National Teams, Champa Ban Youth Rugby, new player recruitment and other events as agreed upon

• ສ້າງເຄື່ອງມືການຕະຫລາດຄື ໂປດເຕີ ແບນເນີ້ ເສື້ອ ວີດີໂອ ແລະ ທາງໂຊຊຽວມີເດຍ Assist in creating marketing materials, including posters, banners, shirts, pamphlets, videos and social media content

• Support Communications Manager in collecting content from key events in line with agreed Communications Plan;

• Support LRF in executing on events and activities in line with annual plan;

• Support execution of sponsorship benefit contracts (event, programme, online, merchandise and other visibility as outlined and agreed upon by the LRF and specific sponsors)
