The Lao Rugby Federation adopts World Rugby Anti-Doping Regulations which are WADA compliant.

In February 2017, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic became the 184th State Party to ratify the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport. The Convention allows governments to align domestic policies with the World Anti-Doping Code.

The Lao Rugby Federation reports to the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports’ Elite Sports Department. WADA compliance is a key issue for the Lao Minister of Education and Sport, Mrs. Sengdeuane Lachanthaboune as well as the Vice President of the Lao Olympic Committee Mr. Kasem Inthara. The LRF works closely with the Ministry at every juncture and will continue to ensure the Lao Rugby Federation and its members support and comply with all anti-doping measures introduced and mandated through World Rugby and the Lao Ministry of Education and Sport.
