Every year, Champa Ban Coaches are trained twice a year in key topics like coaching, match officiating, first aid and safeguarding in sport to be able to deliver fun, safe, impactful seasons for youth players.
The Champa Ban powered by Pass It Back Coach Training with over 100 new and the returning coaches who are spending one week learning new rugby and life skills coaching techniques in preparation for the new season from Vientiane Capital, Vientiane Province and Xieng Khouang.

The new season of Champa Ban Rugby will start this month supporting 11-16 year old players across 3 provinces to develop their rugby and leadership skills and show how rugby can be part of recovery as we emerge from COVID-19. #Rugby4All

We’re excited to announce that Lao Rugby will be part of the YSEALI Laos Seeds for the Future cohort for 2019! Coaches Aeng Khang and Pern are working with their Vietnamese counterparts to coordinate a weekend of rugby and life skills for players from both countries, combined with the Champa Ban National Finals for Laos. We’re excited to hear about different strategies for planning between the two nations building on the skills they have learned as ChildFund Pass It Back Coaches.
